Synopsis

A child dreams of swimming freely like a fish, feeling at peace beside the sea.

Although other children laugh and don’t understand him, he knows the ocean understands him and holds a secret. One morning, when he wakes up, something magical begins to happen: Is his dream about to come true?

In this adventure, he will discover that being different is not only special but can also help him find his true self.

Implicit values

The story celebrates the value of authenticity and the freedom to be oneself.

It helps readers identify feelings and experiences that can be difficult to express in words.

The absence of text invites each reader to develop their imagination and empathy.

About the author

I am Teresa Jaldón, an Andalusian artist, flamenco teacher, and creator of stories and theater-dance for children. I have participated in festivals and workshops in several countries, with notable experiences at the Flamenco Biennial and street parades in Spain, such as the Festival de Flamenco en Tarragona 2024.

Recently, I’ve ventured into illustration, being self-taught and exploring techniques such as watercolor, crayons, and ink. My style is naïve, deeply connected to the essence of the characters.

I have a passion for wordless books, where a single image can tell an entire story. Each illustration and story I create is a process of enjoyment and dedication.
